Our purpose
Thank you for taking the time to browse our website. We are hoping to start our family very soon, and we are excited to be doing this through the process of adoption. If you are pregnant and feel like you have no hope, we would like to reach out to you, not to presume anything for we can't imagine what you are going through, but to offer the option of a loving home for the child you may be unsure about. Please check us out and know that we are definitely praying for you, know matter where your decisions take you.
We want you to know that we both love children very much. We love to play with David's nieces and nephews, and with our friends. children. We cannot wait to be blessed with a child of our own to nurture and love through adoption. We have been married for over eight years of which we continue to grow closer as best of friends. David is an IT Manager for a local construction company, and Sandra teaches at a nondenominational Christian school. We are also blessed to live near Sandra's parents who are already excitedly helping us get ready for the new little one we long to have. David's family lives in Oklahoma. He has an older, adopted sister and a younger brother. David's parents still live on the same property where he was raised. We always look forward to seeing his family as often as possible, especially during Thanksgiving and Easter (where we have a large extended family picnic and egg hunt). Our entire family is very excited that we are adopting and are looking forward to welcoming a new member to the family.
We definitely enjoy playing, which includes camping, hiking, and geocaching. We also love to play games and our wii, read, work on our photography, and travel wherever and whenever we can. Our most recent trip was to discover the Illinois and Missouri section of Route 66. David likes to explore the many caves in the Chattanooga area, as well as learning about new technology. We both enjoy the country and look forward to the joys of our children being able to have pets while growing up. We currently have two cats, Chiquita and Shadow, which Sandra has trained to do tricks such as roll over and sit-up, although they think they have trained us to do their bidding. We also have a German shepherd, Brigitta, who enjoys going on long walks in the woods with us. Brigitta has never met a child who she didn't want to gently kiss and play with. She has earned AKC Star Puppy and will soon be working on becoming a therapy dog. We are looking forward to the day when we can introduce our child to the fun of sitting around the campfire roasting marshmallows for s.mores, searching for birds and other wildlife, and discovering a new waterfall as our own private pool to swim in. Most of all, we are looking forward to a child with which to share God's love.
